Zero Calories, Filled with Bubbles, & Sweetened with Splenda = Yum!!
My family from North Carolina came into town literally raving about Sparkling ICE on Thanksgiving. I’d never heard of it before, but I had to try it after hearing them and going through withdrawals of limiting my Diet Coke.
Sparkling ICE was nice enough to let me test the product and offer my honest opinion too! I had worried that it may be hard to write a review for a product. What if I didn’t like it?….but luckily, I LOVED all 4 flavors!!! My “test” will result in me buying at least 5 bottles a week as my “treat”.
Pros: Zero Calories, BUBBLES, Sweetened with Splenda, Vitamins, Rich Flavor, No junk found in Soda, Pretty and Functional bottle (fits in my purse and easy top)
Cons: Some flavors do not go well with certain foods (Grapefruit would be AWFUL with say Pizza), Some flavors are better than others (to me), cannot buy it everywhere
**You can get it at Kroger, King Soopers, Ralphs, Frys, Dillons, Smith’s, Costco, Sam’s Club, Fred Meyer, QFC, Haggen, Top Foods, Winco, Jewel, Walgreens, and online at Amazon.com and SparklingICE.com
I drank the first one, Raspberry Ice, as I felt my cold coming on, the B vitamins, green tea extracts, and antioxidants may have helped my body fight the sniffles, but even if it didn’t, the bubbles felt so good on my throat I did not care.
The flavors are made from natural fruit juices and are a lot more rich than other flavored waters like SoBe and Vitamin Water. This is a huge pro for me because I have to have some kind of flavor! If it says Mango Orange I want it to taste like it not like a Jolly Rancher fruit! ICE does a great job at keeping the flavors natural.
I do have my favorite flavors, but I guess that is common for any kind of drink. Just like I could turn down Sprite, I can turn away from the Lemon Lime flavor. My favorites are the Orange Mango and Kiwi Strawberry–so yummy!!!
Verdict: I definitely could exchange a coke for one of these waters to eat with my free food or when I wake up.
